      • (10 min) Demo: Use an AI writing assistant to improve a poorly written workplace email. Show how to use prompts such as: "Rewrite this email to sound more professional and polite." Highlight changes in tone, grammar, and structure.<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Practice: Learners draft a short workplace message (e.g. requesting a day off, following up on a task) and use an AI writing assistant to refine it. Pairs compare their original and improved versions.<\/li>\n
      • Part 2: Conversational Practice with AI Simulations (30 minutes)<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Demo: Set up an AI chatbot as a "workplace colleague" using a prompt such as: "You are a friendly colleague. Help me practise small talk at the start of a team meeting." Show how the AI responds and how to keep the conversation going.<\/li>\n
      • (20 min) Learners use Scenario Cards to practise 2-3 workplace interactions with an AI conversational tool: a first-day introduction, a team meeting contribution, and a small-talk exchange. Groups share the most useful phrases they discovered.<\/li>\n
      • Part 3: Cultural Awareness and Adaptation (20 minutes)<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Demo: Use an LLM with the prompt: "Compare communication styles in [Learner's Home Country] and [Local Country] workplaces, specifically regarding giving feedback." Discuss the AI's insights and verify with the educator's knowledge.<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Learners choose a scenario involving a potential cultural misunderstanding (e.g. receiving very direct feedback). They use the AI cultural comparison tool to understand the differences and discuss how they would adapt their response.<\/li>\n
      • Part 4: Handling Feedback and Misunderstandings (30 minutes)<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Use an AI conversational simulation to practise a scenario where a learner receives constructive criticism from a manager. Focus on active listening and asking clarifying questions.<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Use the AI conversational tool to practise a scenario where a misunderstanding occurs (e.g. a missed deadline). Learners practise explaining the situation and finding a solution.<\/li>\n
      • (10 min) Reflection: What strategies did learners find most effective? How can AI help them prepare for real-life situations? Each learner completes the reflection prompt: "One soft skill I feel more confident about after this lesson is... and I will use AI to..."<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
